The castle on the Black Mountain and its time periods, Migration Period / Middle Ages / Modern Era it is a mixed forest. The route is best done on foot, it is not accessible. Today the route is also popular with mountain bikers. Directly behind the car park of the Elbe Clinic rises the "Schwarzer Berg" (Black Mountain). At almost 35 meters above sea level, it is by far the most striking elevation in Stade and thus dominates the surroundings over a wide area. In the Middle Ages, a rampart enclosed the hill almost completely. Today, at its highest preserved point, it is still 1.50m high and shows several layers, which can probably be identified as remnants of the turf packing of the fortification. It was likely much higher originally. Ceramic fragments from the 12th/13th century were found during excavations, suggesting construction during this period. Whether there was any building inside cannot be said with certainty.

We checked out the bike park in Siebenhöfen, but it seems nobody has been there for a while, it's very overgrown. Bikepark Altes Land is located on a recreational area in Grünendeich. The facility was opened in June 2018 and serves as a skill and action course for bicycle and cross-bike riders. The bike park is located near the Elbe dike, behind the Lühesand Grill snack bar. The construction was a joint project of the municipality of Hollern-Twielenfleth and the company Turbomatik. A great cycling and hiking route runs along here.

A great cycling and hiking route runs along here at the Lühe Anleger. A visit is recommended at any time of the year. The Lühe Schulau ferry runs back and forth to Schulau several times a day. A large playground for children is located here with many beautifully landscaped seating areas. Many kiosks offer their delicacies, a visit is recommended. Opposite the Lühe Anleger, there is a public toilet right next to the tourist information office.
