The main entrance to Hofstade-Baden is still located on Tervuursesteenweg. From 1933 to 1936, the estate attracted crowds of day trippers. Many arrived by car or bicycle, while others traveled to Hofstade by boat or train. During this period, the estate earned its nickname "sea of poor people" because it was primarily ordinary people who, due to the Depression of the 1930s, lacked the means to travel to the coast, who spent their free time there. It is a pseudo-basilica built in locally quarried sandstone. The heavy square late Romanesque built-in east tower has an upper floor from 1729 and is crowned with a tent roof. The church has a painting Charity of Saint Martin from 1656 that is located on the baroque southern side altar. The northern side altar is from 1782. There are some gravestones from the first half of the 17th century.

In 1134 there was already mention of a parish church, the patronage of which was vested in the Saint Gudula Chapter in Brussels. The originally Romanesque church had a 12th-century tower that was initially built above the chancel. During the religious disputes in the second half of the 16th century, the church was badly damaged. Around 1600, the chancel, which was the most badly damaged, was rebuilt. In 1729, the tower was restored. In 1780-1781, the chancel and nave were demolished and replaced by a classicist building. The tower was built into the east façade. The church was then oriented to the west, while the original orientation was to the east.

De Ribecourt Originally, in the 12th century, the castle consisted only of a fortified wooden tower, which was later built of stone. This tower was located on the site of the current front terrace and served as a lookout post and vanguard for the other lordships in the area, until the moment that the lords of Perk came to settle here and expanded the castle. The castle is considered one of the most beautiful lordships in the area of Brussels. It has more than 200 rooms and has been repeatedly adapted over time to the needs of the then residents. The current castle dates partly from the 17th and partly from the 18th century and was rebuilt in the 19th century. During the French rule in 1809, Perk was purchased by Pieter Bounder van Melsbroek, a French officer. He sold his goods in 1833 to Count Prosper Christyn de Ribaucourt, who was senator for Dendermonde. The castle has, over time, received many important visitors. In 1696, the Prince of Nassau-Saarbrück, general of the armies of the United Provinces, took up residence here. On 9 May 1746, Louis XV, King of France, who had made his triumphal entry in Brussels a few days earlier, stayed here. Field Marshal Montgommery visited General Dempsey, who led the battle around Arnhem from here in the Second World War. The castle is still inhabited by the descendants of Count de Ribaucourt.

It is an oriented three-aisled cruciform church with a crossing tower. The church is made of sandstone, but the neo-Gothic side aisles are built of brick. The church has the 17th-century painting Holy Family. The painting Our Lady and Saint Dominic is by David Teniers II. Of the statues, a wooden Saint Anne-te-Drieën from around 1500 can be mentioned. From the 17th century is a Saint Sebastian in painted terracotta. There are also statues of Saint Adrian and Sebastian, in polychrome wood, also 17th century. The confessionals and the side altars are in 17th-century Baroque style. The organ and the rood screen are from 1716 and in Louis XIV style. The organ was built by Carolus Dillens. There is a grave monument for G. de Baronaige, from 1626.
