Vlodrop station opened in 1879 and closed to passenger traffic in 1944. The line remained in use until the early 1980s. The last train ran there in 1991. The station building was built in 1879, along with several other buildings. In 1885, an engine shed was constructed, and in 1905, the State Railways built several houses. In 1944, the station was damaged by wartime actions. It was not repaired, but gradually demolished over the years, the last section in 1973.
