The bike path is unpaved and is a wonderful gravel path to ride along. The path has the great advantage of leading around Hassenberg without any uphill or downhill sections and away from cars. In midsummer, the path is pleasantly cool and shady. The northern end merges into the road in a somewhat confusing manner, and the bike path also crosses it. CAUTION: CARS. The southern end is less dangerous, as you can follow the bike path along the road. In the middle, you cross the narrow paved road between Hassenberg and Neuendorf. There are few cars, but they have the right of way.
