The Catholic Church of St. Laurentius on Clauener Strasse was built in 1912 and 1913 and consecrated on August 10, 1913 by the then Bishop of Hildesheim, Adolf Cardinal Bertram. Inside there is a baroque high altar from the 17th century, a Marian altar from 1740 and the statue of Laurentius donated in 1908 by bachelors from Hohenhameln.
