A sense of uneasiness and sadness lingers in this place. One can still feel the pain of the wounded soldiers amid the ruins of this old hospital. It was undoubtedly bombed to this state; only a few walls and the caves where the soldiers likely hid or rested remain. A thought for all those who lost their lives for our freedom, who sacrificed everything they had to defend an idea called Homeland, whether Italian or Austrian, it doesn't matter. Noble souls who would be a great example to many today. Glory to you. 🫶🏽
