Nice corner to stay. Not far, on the ridge, remains of a medieval moth can be found. The path to the Rabenmühle is easy to hike or cycle on. The path on the left leads in the direction of Großbrüchter/Ingelstedt

This park, which still exists today in its basic form, was designed along axes based on the French model. The park's heyday was in the last quarter of the 18th century and lasted until the first half of the 19th century. The castle was used as a residence by the princely family of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen or a branch line until 1835. After that it only served administrative functions or was divided into rental apartments. In April 1945 the castle and its ancillary facilities were shot at and burned down. The palace park is on Via Romea. For the BUGA2021 in Erfurt, the baroque palace garden was chosen as the external location. In the lower part of the park there are numerous fountain figures that depict scenes from a deer hunt and were designed by Christian Johann Biedermann (before 1664-after 1740) around 1725. Two riders gallop in the two small round fountains by the orangery building.
