The Rimmelsberg Dune is a small, seven-hectare dune area in the Schleswig-Holstein municipality of Jörl. It has been protected since 1938 under designation number 24. The nature reserve consists of undulating, hilly terrain, home to numerous juniper bushes and surrounded by oak groves. With its heaths and dunes and one of the largest juniper stands in Schleswig-Holstein, it represents a unique feature in the otherwise intensively cultivated agricultural landscape. The name Rimmelsberg itself derives from the Danish rimme (Old Norse rimi), meaning a row of dunes or a mound of earth.

The St. Jürgen Church in Nordhackstedt is a simple Romanesque stone building from the 12th century. The granite baptismal font also dates from this period. In 1897, the single-nave church interior with a rectangular chancel was extended to the west and a tower was added. The wide Gothic chancel arch is decorated with late Gothic paintings. You can see red tendrils with dotted rosettes, including a depiction of the Last Supper in rectangular fields on the northern arch reveal and the Fall of Man on the southern side. The painting was discovered in 1926 and uncovered and restored in 1927. Above the chancel arch one finds the 1284 carved in oak Passion series with crucifix in a rectangular frame as almost three-dimensionally carved groups of figures from twice four arched arcades with reliefs. Also worth seeing is the sculpture of Saint Anna Selbdritt, sitting on a wide bench, from the late 15th century and the late Gothic standing figure of the crowned Mary, who is holding the naked Child Jesus with her left hand and raising her right hand in blessing. Today, Saint Anna Selbdritt can be found on a console next to the chancel arch, Mary with the Child Jesus in the niche of the walled-up north portal.
