This is an excellent stop during a walk or bicycle ride. The tower has beautiful views of the area. There is a good selection of drinks, snacks and warm lunches.

The visitor centre is closed for now. It may re-open again in the future though. Check https://www.luontoon.fi/fi/palvelut/seitsemisen-luontokeskus-luontokeskus-12442. The fire place there is in use.

The Water Tower Trail, which starts from Tähtitorninmäki, is a guided route. It’s just over three kilometers long and circles around the tower. Along the way, the trail runs next to the shoreline, where there's a great spot on a rocky cliff to stop for a drink or a snack.

The Halimasjärvi Nature Reserve, located between Atala, Kumpula, and Risso, is an excellent destination for a hike—even for the whole family. Outdoor activities and relaxation are best enjoyed along the trail that circles Halimasjärvi, parts of which run on duckboards. From the duckboard trail, you can take a detour up terrain steps to the rocky eastern shore to admire the scenery. The trail cannot be ridden by bike, but I locked my bike to the signpost poles. Great views can also be found just a few steps from the bike path.

The Seitseminen Nature Center is open year-round, giving you a chance to explore local flora and fauna through its exhibitions. Riding in the national park, you immerse yourself in the beautiful surrounding landscape. Here, you can take a break with a warm drink in the cozy café.

You cross a quiet wooden bridge, its worn planks creaking softly under your wheels. Framed by spruce and birch, it feels like a gateway into stillness.
