I rode with my eldest (8 years old) and had so much fun that we're going again tomorrow. The child should definitely be able to ride a pump track and be fit enough. It never gets particularly steep, but the kids should be able to ride berms. The uphill section always has the same gradient and, despite the uphill section, is fun with a biobike. The Family Trail is a perfect fit for the trail and definitely recommends it with kids.

With the gravel, perhaps not necessarily suitable for small children

Beautiful panoramic views of the expanse of the sea and the surrounding hills. The approach via the 5103 is worth seeing, with frequent glimpses of the bay (and the industrial plants, but that's part of the "charm" of this area). From the 5103, the road branches off steeply to the left near Brovinje, but don't worry, that's the steepest part of it; from there, the climb continues smoothly toward the viewpoint.

So, here we are now, at the end of May 2025, and I'd say all the trails need maintenance, and above all, there could be more trails. You'll be done with all of them in two days at the most. If it's supposed to be the Croatian "Finale Ligure" - as a MTB magazine once suggested - then it still needs a lot of work. You get the impression that someone started it and now it's all gone, unfortunately, because it's a fantastic area with beautiful bays, good restaurants, and the best campsites. Biker's heart, what more could you want? So, please keep at it and don't let it go to waste, that would be a shame!
