The High Gate in Lidzbark Warmiński is a Gothic defensive structure built in the second half of the 15th century (ca. 1466–1478) as part of the medieval city walls and was one of three gates leading into the city. Only this gate, now also known as the Foregate, remains today. It is a four-story brick structure with two semicircular towers and a pointed archway, constituting one of the most valuable Gothic monuments in Warmia and Mazury. In the 17th–19th centuries, the structure was adapted for artillery fire, and after being rebuilt in the mid-19th century, it served, among other purposes, as a courthouse. The gate walls still contain remnants of the 1520 bombardment, in the form of embedded cannonballs. Today, the High Gate is an important symbol of the city and a tourist attraction.

A fantastic path that leads along the bends of the Pisa River. The surrounding greenery is truly magical. A fragment is located on the Green Velo cycling trail. You will also find wooden shelters with benches, a place for a bonfire and information boards about forest life.

Święta Lipka, although a small village in Kętrzyn County (Reszel commune), is known throughout Poland, thanks to the famous Marian Sanctuary. The Święta Lipka Basilica of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, together with the cloister and monastery, is a Baroque monument. Since 2018, it has had the status of a historical monument. The beginning of the cult of the Mother of God in Święta Lipka dates back to the early 14th century. According to legend, a prisoner sentenced by the court in Kętrzyn placed a figure of the Mother of God on a lime tree, and thanks to the prayers offered to her, he was pardoned. Since then, pilgrims have been coming to the village not only from Warmia, but also from further afield, e.g. from Warsaw, Białystok, and even Vilnius.
