The Vistula breakthrough marks one of the most impressive interventions in the river landscape. In 1895, a new, direct outlet of the Vistula into the sea was created here to prevent floods in the delta. Today, the breakthrough looks like a natural coastal river: wide, powerful, and constantly in motion. Along the path, you can feel the vastness of the estuary, seagulls circle over the water, and the Baltic Sea already opens up on the horizon. A quiet, yet historically significant section of any tour around Sobieszewo.

When riding the route in the forest, you are close to nature, you breathe fresh air. Beautiful views. You can meet a roe deer or a deer. There are not many tourists, unless it is a long weekend etc.

Beautiful views of the sea and coastal vegetation. It's a shame there aren't any shelters to protect against the rain; I saw little children riding their bikes there during a heavy downpour.
