The forest promenade is barrier-free and suitable for both young and old. The car park on the treetop path is the only one in the national park that costs 4 euros. The Thiemsburg restaurant, a snack bar, a large adventure playground for kids, the treetop path with root cave and an exhibition on the national park await you. Tip: if you want to go on the treetop path, even in the best weather and in the season, the off-peak times, right when it opens and even better two hours before it closes, are ideal. The mountain mill stood on the upper main market until 1895, first mentioned in a document in 1378 and probably built immediately after the construction of the Leina Canal.
