The café on the central village square offers coffee and cake, as well as small snacks to take away or enjoy on site. If you take the small road leading east out of the village, you'll pass something on the right that seems to have fallen out of time: an old, disused ski lift is slowly approaching its disrepair. Anyone from around here (like me 🤭) knows that there used to be a ski resort here, and even a ski club. Back then, Neunkirchen was almost like the St. Moritz of the Odenwald. It was a long time ago...
