The Swan Pond is popular with hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers and those looking for relaxation. Many paths around the lake and a restaurant complete the day's adventure.

You can hike or walk in countless directions here and it's an experience in all of them. Whether to the Limes replica of the good Romans, the Köppel (my favorite), the NR5 towards Rengsdorf, the Aubach valley up to Hardert or to the Dreiwetterhütte. And on quiet days just around the lake and to the restaurant. Simply great.

There are lots of small slate stones on the ground here. With children it's fun to try to hit the trees on the slope or the stream. A great area. The slope is steep and caution is advised, especially with children.

Good, well-connected parking space for up to 15 cars. Directly opposite is a horse paddock and from here you can go on great circular walks with the Rheinhöhenweg, access paths to the Rheinsteig and, for example, the Zwergenwege in Rengsdorf. There is a great children's playground nearby.

Very nice route for walking but also for cycling. Light to moderate inclines but also narrow paths where it can get tight. From exercise straight into the beer garden, what could be nicer.
