January 25, 2026, Uniwersytet Kaliski - Rektorat

The building was designed by Marian Lalewicz, a prominent architect of the neoclassical era, whose work included the State Agricultural Bank building in Warsaw. Before the current building was constructed, the site housed the headquarters of the Society of Cyclists, and even before that, the Russian State Bank.

The University of Kalisz Rector's Office building is located in the historic former Polish Bank building on Wojciech Bogusławski Square in Kalisz. Built between 1924 and 1926 in the neoclassical style, the building served as a bank for decades. After the bank's closure, it fell into disuse and was then transferred to the university and undergone a thorough revitalization. Following the completion of the renovation in 2025, it became the representative seat of the University of Kalisz authorities, housing the Rector's office, administration, and conference rooms. The building is an example of the successful adaptation of a historic building to academic functions and is one of the city's most important public buildings.

The Wrocław Tollgate in Kalisz is a classicist building from 1827–1828, designed by Franciszek Reinstein. It served as a checkpoint and toll collection point at the entrance to the city from Wrocław. It is the only surviving tollgate among several existing in Kalisz from the 19th century. The structure is a templum in antis with a Doric portico. Until the end of the 19th century, it served as a customs house, later serving as a city scale and housing various institutions. Today, it is an architectural monument and a part of the city's historical transportation system.

August 14, 2025, Prosna River

The Prosna River, flowing through central Poland, is a picturesque 216.8-kilometer waterway and tourist route, a left tributary of the Warta River. It's particularly charming in Kalisz, where it's surrounded by parks and bridges, creating an ideal place for walks, bike rides, and kayaking. The Prosna offers calm waters, fringed by fields, meadows, and willow trees, and its banks attract nature and history lovers.
