This magnificent waterfall can be seen from the Old Mill. However, if you want to climb to the viewing platform, an even more impressive view of the cascading water awaits you.

After a steep climb, you'll have a wonderful view of the icefall from the platform. Unfortunately, during my visit, the sun was shining directly over the edge of the waterfall, creating a massive glare. So, plan for the right time of day.

komoot warned that the route could be difficult, and yes, two scree fields have to be crossed and there is a steep precipice. I count myself among the "inexperienced" and found it all doable. Above all, the effort was worth it!👍😃

A stop at Birgit's on the Blindisalm is always worthwhile! So warm, delicious food and a cute sun terrace with a panoramic view of the Kahorn. Don't be afraid of the mountain dog - she seems to be the nicest dog in the whole valley and loves the visitors, even strangers' dogs are completely tolerated.

The path remains really beautiful, but the first part (which used to be picturesque in the forest) is now open after extensive tree felling work. After about the first third, however, it is beautifully wooded again and there is a lot of shade. It keeps going close to the water.
