You wouldn't expect to find such a building in a small town like Commercy. It is a little reminiscent of the Palace of Versailles. Worth seeing!

Rails were laid along the canal at the beginning of the 20th century in order to be able to pull ships along the canal with a locomotive. Until then, people or animals took over. Next to the bridge you will find an information board and a little further on an old locomotive.

Around the church you can still find the remains of the old castle. A gate is still preserved and you can go through it. You can still see parts of the walls.
