The Vogelsang Pass is a mountain pass in the Kaiserstuhl region, approximately 383 meters high, located between Bötzingen and Vogtsburg. Located directly on the banks of the Rhine, this simple shelter offers hikers and cyclists a welcome place to rest. From here, you have a magnificent view of the wide river and the surrounding floodplain. The shelter provides protection from rain or sun and is an ideal spot to enjoy the tranquility of nature. Important note: There is no garbage collection here – please take your rubbish with you to help keep the nature reserve clean.

Currently (November 2025), the path is overgrown on both sides, and erosion has created a deep gully that's quite muddy 🤪 Not so easy to ride because you keep slipping into this gully 😫
