Beautiful walk running along the River Emme. This spot between Kirschberg and Burgdorf is exceptionally wild and beautiful, and the path is strewn with wide pebbly beaches, wooden bridges and woods.

You can take a leisurely walk along large parts of the Emme on both sides. There are always places to eat and drink and public transport in the villages.

The Emme sills reduce the flow speed of the Emme and thus the erosion of the bank structures. The water is dammed up a little above, so that you can swim from time to time. CAUTION: Rotors form directly below the thresholds, in which people keep drowning!
