A preserved area all around the wetlands of Cypress Creek, the park offers trails and boardwalks throughout the vegetation, from where you can see more than 500 species of plants and 217 species of animals. During wet seasons the area can have occasional floods.

Ten miles of hiking/biking trail run through the nice Riverbend Park including a small portion of the Ocean to Lake Hiking Trail. There are some picnic chickees and picnic pavilions if you want to spend a relaxing day in the park. You can also bring your kayak or canoe for a little cruise.
