The Hammock Loop Trail is the longest of a couple trails in Rothenbach Park. The shorter Solar Trail is a loop on the other side of the street. The Hammock Loop Trail circles around the pond that makes up a border for the park and winds through the trees on a paved path.

Deep Hole Road is a double-track trail that offers access to Lower Myakka Lake and the Deep Hole. It should be noted that only 30 visitors are allowed to hike into the wilderness each day, and a pass is obtained at the park office on a first-come-first-serve basis.
