A nice trail a little further out than some of the others in the park, which means you usually encounter fewer people and get more time to yourself. It can get muddy after a rain, so it's best to wait until the trail has time to dry off.

As is often the case, this area has been overrun by invasive species, which can crowd out native plants and provide subpar habitat for wildlife and pollinators. The park is now taking steps to rectify this by removing the invasive species so native plants and animals can thrive like they should.
