San Gabriel Park is a recreational area along the river of the same name and one of the most popular parks in Georgetown. It hosts various sport fields, walking trails and playgrounds. After some sport activities, you can enjoy the area and relax at one of the picnic areas or pavilions.

San Gabriel River originates in Georgetown (Texas) and is formed by South Fork San Gabriel and North Fork San Gabriel. The river is one of the most important landmarks of the city and multiple parks are located at its shores (e.g. San Gabriel Park).

Berry Springs Park and Preserve is located along Berry Creek, in the northeast of Georgetown. The park includes a lot of amenities like a playground, an amphitheater, picnic areas, pavilions and an area to camp. The most popular activities in the park are hiking, biking and fishing in the lake.
