August 14, 2023, Evans Creek Preserve

As you enter the Preserve on the crushed gravel, a path crosses Evans Creek over a steel truss pedestrian bridge. There are intersections with mounted location maps along the way to help you navigate through the trail system. At this point, you are in the meadow, and you can stroll through, stop at one of the four birdwatching platforms, or enter the wetland. Every direction is beautiful and photo-worthy, with a rich supply of ferns, salmonberry, and wildflowers.
