At the exit from Milna harbor, on the right, is a church dedicated to St. Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors. Arne Harašić, a landowner from Milna, had the church built in 1844 for the spiritual needs of the residents and for the great joy of the sailors who found refuge from storms in Vlaška Bay. For several years, he petitioned the bishop, the parish, and the authorities in Supetar to permit the construction of the church, which cost him more than 600 forints. He also donated the Platac property, where a vineyard and an olive grove are located, to the church. On the feast day of St. Nicholas, a large festival is held in the church, which is especially celebrated by the sailors from Milna.
