Kiltipper Park is a nice area of managed trails and grassland in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. While walking here, you can enjoy beautiful views of the city to the east or the mountains to the west.

This is the more formally landscaped and planted area of the park. The twin lakes are artificial, created as water features and fed by the Carmac River. The area is planted with specimen trees following the path lines and edges of the Olympic Garden.

Located just over the road from here, Avoca at Rathcoole is a huge retail store with excellent food markets and cafés. It's a great stop or starting place for a walk around Rathcoole Park which is just over the road.

Easily accessible from the N7 and equally popular with locals, Rathcoole Park is a well maintained and interestingly landscaped area of parkland. There are some nice trails around the perimeter which make good walking or cycling loops. A pair of interconnected lakes fed by the Camac River and a mixture of sports fields, grassland and parkland with feature trees.
