If the breakwater protecting the mouth of the Vistula River is wet, for example after rain, you should exercise extreme caution. Walking barefoot, I've personally experienced how easy it is to slip on the concrete floor, and if you're walking close to the Vistula Riverbed, you can slide down the slope into deep water. In such cases, the help of others is invaluable.

I was encouraged to visit the "Grzybek" restaurant by positive customer reviews I found online. The restaurant is not very visible on Morska Street, tucked into a row of stalls and ice cream parlors, stretching across the street, with umbrellas, and leading up a stone staircase to a hill where there are also areas for eating and playing for children. We ordered the oven-baked cod in a cream sauce with capers and cucumber, plus fries, for 54 PLN. I can confirm that the dish is delicious, although a local questioned whether it was actually cod. We waited almost 40 minutes for it to be served. There were quite a few customers during that time, so it's justified. While we were waiting, a heavy downpour fell, and the restaurant has a tarp roof on a metal structure, shaped like a mushroom. The roof bravely withstood the rain, didn't leak, and didn't yield to the wind. The restroom is in a separate building on the right side; in case of rain, you'll need an umbrella to get there. WW

The famous Stegna whale. A place for a souvenir photo. Behind the whale is a water gate. There are plenty of restaurants and souvenirs around.

The beach descent has undergone a metamorphosis. New beautiful descents, a new boulevard with benches and a view, and a footbridge path with LEDs.

The wild boar on a bike symbolizes the numerous wild boars in the area, which can also be found on the nearby bike route.

I definitely do not recommend a bike trip; it is worth taking binoculars to see the habitats of waterfowl in the inaccessible part of the Reserve.

A resting place with benches and a shelter and a view of the Vistula. Right next to it, a ferry to Sobieszewska Island departs.
