The tower on Góra Dylewska is not the only one here - this one is higher! But it is a relay TV station with a tall mast - a bit too modern for this area... but it makes an impression - thin and tall. There is also a shelter and tables for a picnic next to it, so everything is fine.

It is not only the highest elevation in this region, but also in the whole of north-eastern Poland - 312 m above sea level. From the observation tower here there is a wonderful panorama, so it is not to be missed.

While the water features gently bubble up from the ground, you can make yourself comfortable on one of the surrounding benches. The small fountains provide a pleasant cooling effect, especially on warmer days, and conjure up a playful atmosphere. The sculpture in the center of the fountain attracts curious glances, while children frolic excitedly between the water jets. Even though it inevitably gets wet, the fun seems to be worth the small risk. A beautiful place that is ideal for a short break when exploring the city. Here, you're truly close to nature. The Französischer See, a small forest pond in the nature reserve, invites you to pause and take a break. The observation tower here offers a beautiful panoramic view of the hilly landscape. The wooden stairs creak a little, which gives the tower a certain charm. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a view that offers you a wide view over fields and forests - in good weather, all the way to the horizon. The information board on site will help you identify the surrounding villages and landscape features. In combination with the neighboring boulder gallery, which consists of interesting stone sculptures, this makes a worthwhile destination. The details in the stonemasonry are particularly exciting and give the place a certain mystique. Ideally, you should combine the visit with a hike through the surrounding forests to enjoy nature in all its diversity. The climb is definitely worth it. You should just be a little careful on the steps - they are sturdy, but one or two of the steps have seen better days.

The Ostróda seafront promenade is a beautiful place that offers more than just a path along the water. The wide footpath and cycle path runs right along the shore and opens up new views of the lake, whose surface shimmers in different colors depending on the time of day. As you stroll, you can feel the fresh breeze and enjoy the hustle and bustle of people walking, cycling or simply sitting on one of the benches and enjoying the view. Just a few steps away, the old Teutonic castle towers up, telling its own story. From the masters of the Teutonic Order to Gustav Adolf of Sweden and Napoleon - many famous people have left their mark here. The castle forms an exciting contrast to the modern promenade and is worth a detour to immerse yourself a little in the history of the region. At the pier, you have the opportunity to take a boat trip across the lake district or even to the Elbląg Canal. These tours offer a relaxed opportunity to experience the surrounding nature from a different perspective. The promenade itself is a lively place that invites you to linger, be it for a break by the water or a longer walk along the lake.
