Tadeusz Długopolski, parish priest in Trzebiatów consecrated the church and celebrated the Holy Mass. indulgence in honor of St. App. Peter and Paul. In 1950, the Ministry of National Defense declared Mrzeżyno a military area and entry for civilians was forbidden. From then on, the church was closed and was devastated. May 26, 1956 - after cleaning and renovation, it was reopened. Since then, it has been serving residents and holidaymakers continuously to this day.
