The view to the north is somewhat restricted by trees, but to the west there is a beautiful view across the entire valley.

Ljubljana farmers-market is a must visit for tourists, especially on Saturday mornings. Its just a few steps away from Tromostovje (Triple) Bridge, so it's all basically just in the same place and you can do it all (together with the entire old medieval part of town) in a couple of hours. Most visitors love it, as it's a piece of history, preserved against odds, till today's very different times.

If you have enough time in Ljubljna, and like some easy walking in nice nature, definitely visit Tivoli Park and walk up to Rožnik and Cankarjev vrh (Cankar's Peak), both for the pleasant walking through the woods and for nice views of Ljubljana and its surroundings. You can do it all on good gravel roads, or you can take any of numerous dirt-trails and paths, in which case wear some decent sneakers.
