The fieldstone hall of the Church of St. Peter and Paul in Seyda dates back to the 13th or 14th century. After a fire in 1708, the building was renovated between 1709 and 1711. The square west tower dates from 1854.

Built in 1605, it is the oldest building in Seyda. Until the Congress of Vienna in 1815, the Amtshaus served as the administrative seat of the Royal Saxon Office of Seyda. The building was constructed from materials from the demolished Sydow Castle, which was located a few meters from the site of the Amtshaus. In addition to the registry office, an office of the Annaburg Forestry Office, and a practice room for the Seyda marching band, the massive structure primarily houses the local history museum.

This is a nice rest area on the Dahmsche Straße just before Seyda on the edge of the Glücksburg Heath. Unfortunately, the area is not covered, but when the weather is dry, you can sit here nicely. There is a table with benches and a little further on there are two more benches.
