Be careful, the Elendsattel is closed every year between Kloo-Ascher-Tal and Valepp from April 15th to May 15th so that the grouse can breed there undisturbed. Unfortunately, I didn't know this and had to take a detour via the Ackernalm – 10 km and 400 meters of elevation gain, plus the ascent to the Ackernalm, all on the paved toll road. Nobody needs tar.

The route was a great experience for me. I walked it alone and was rewarded with a great panorama. I would hike it again and again
