Even in the summer heat, you can hope to be completely alone here. The view is fantastic. Swimming is very possible, but the water is quite steep. There's a bench at a slightly elevated position.

In my opinion, Templin and this hike, apart from a few short stretches along the road, especially on the Fährkrug side, are a feast for the eyes and highly recommended. Templin's city wall has a total length of 1.7 kilometers. Measured by area, Templin is the largest city in the Uckermark district of the state of Brandenburg. Despite its population of only around 16,000, it is the eighth-largest city in Germany. Former Chancellor Angela Merkel spent her early years of school at the Goethe Elementary School (see also picture).

Extremely dense water plants. They scratch quite a bit and it's impossible to get through. Unfortunately, swimming is not possible at this bathing area and is even dangerous if you lose your buoyancy in the carpet of plants. 🤷♂️

The rest area consists of a shelter, unfortunately without a table, and a bench. A board also provides information about the region.
