Two colored church windows show the Christmas events and the resurrection. Another church window shows a motif for the opening of the border in 1989 - which was a special event.

The city model with a scale of 1:500 shows houses and streets in the city center between the town hall, the roundabout and Bleckede Castle. This area is supplemented by the depiction of a section of Bleckeder Hafen with the pier "Johann". The city can also be experienced barrier-free thanks to the additional marking of the streets, squares and important buildings in the unveiling of the Bleckede city model in Braille. “Driving through the streets with your fingertips and finding out the difference in size of the individual building structures by just feeling them – that is possible with the city model on the central square in Bleckede. The model is an important approach and starting point for city tours and visitors. https://www.bleckede.de/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-2425/4118_read-4451/

In this picturesque half-timbered building from 1680 there was a private school where Friedrich Schwantes worked as a teacher. On September 18, 1881 his son, the prehistorian and botanist Dr. Gustav Schwantes born. As a natural scientist and archaeologist, the Kiel professor of prehistory and early history took an interdisciplinary approach to the reconstruction of old living environments. His botanical research dealt, among other things, with the steppe flora of South Africa. The plant genus Schwantest is named after him. He died in Hamburg on November 17, 1960. https://www.lupesi.de/stadtbesichtungen/deutschland/bleckede/

Until the separation of jurisdiction from administration, the Second Official of Bleckede resided in this neoclassical building, built in 1810. In 1852, the District Court and the court prison moved here. After the dissolution of the Bleckede district in 1932, the District Court moved into the castle in 1933. In 1930, the prison was closed, but the cells were used to hold police prisoners until they were remodeled in 1973. The inscription "District Court" can still be seen above the entrance, as can the engraved elevation "24.3 above No. 0" on the left window. https://www.lupesi.de/stadtbesichtigungen/deutschland/bleckede/
