Cruzinha (Cape Verdean Creole, ALUPEC: Kruzinha) is a village in the parish of São Pedro Apóstolo, in the municipality of Ribeira Grande, in the north of the island of Santo Antão, Cape Verde. It is located on the coast, immediately east of the Garça River valley, near Chã da Igreja. The importance of the small port of Cruzinha for supplying the villages in the valley has declined due to improved road connections to the municipality.

The church is located on a pleasant square in Chã de Igreja. Chã de Igreja is a town in the northern part of the island of Santo Antão, Cape Verde. It is situated near the island's north coast, in the Ribeira da Garça River valley, 19 km northwest of the capital, Porto Novo. In 2010, it had a population of 672. The Cruzinha Nature Reserve, which also includes the small coastal village of Cruzinha da Garça (part of Chã de Igreja), extends northeast of Chã de Igreja along the coast.

In the scattered settlement of Lagoa you pass many huts made of stone and roofs made of palm thatch or sugar cane.

"Bordeira" (or borda) means "edge". But when people talk about the Bordeira on Santo Antao, they mean this impressive wall with the panoramic transport and hiking trail. The viewing point at the top with benches and a parasol has no name. A little further up you will find the small grove "Bons sonhos" with a few conifers and a bench. For me, every trip to this island includes a hike from Campo redondo via Bolona over the Bordeira down to Curral das Vacas to my accommodation (Casa Pinto).
