Hillsborough River State Park is very popular with Tampa locals, and for good reason. The park spans 3,383 acres, and there are more than seven miles of trails to explore. Visitors can enjoy fishing, canoeing, kayaking, picnicking, camping, birding, hiking, trail running, and more. The campground is highly rated, and there is a restaurant, a gift shop, as well as canoe and bike rentals.
