The well-known wooden bridge over or near the Vydra river is the Rechle wooden bridge (known as Rechle or krytá lávka / dřevěný most) located near Vchynice-Tetov in the Šumava Mountains in the Czech Republic. The historical wooden bridge originally served as a 'rechle' (a grate/device over the water to count and stop logs) for timber rafting in the Vchynice-Tetov canal. It is located near the beginning of the historical Vchynice-Tetov canal, not far from Modrava and Srní in Šumava National Park. It is a photogenic technical monument and a popular landmark for hikers in the beautiful Povydří area.
