The location of the old church is an optimal vantage point with almost a "360-degree view"; on a clear day, some striking Alpine peaks can also be seen on the south side between the fruit trees.

This is a very idyllic spot for resting and scrambling around - from the ruin I only discovered more remains of walls, which are hardly recognizable anymore in the jumble of stones and bushes.

Unfortunately, cycling is prohibited here - initially very narrow between the house and the fence, afterwards it's a hiking trail dotted with stones and roots.

The Pregarten Parish Church is a neo-Gothic church in the town of Pregarten in Upper Austria. It is dedicated to Saint Anna and belongs to the diocese of Linz. It was built between 1893 and 1897 according to the plans of cathedral builder Otto Schirmer. It has a 56 meter high tower, a three-aisled interior and a high altar made of white marble. It is a listed building.
