This extensive complex, approximately 1.4 km long, stretches through the Enzenbach valley, currently housing over 100 objects – primarily farms, but also commercial, craft, and religious buildings, along with their furnishings and household goods, from all over Austria (and South Tyrol). My conclusion: An interesting and lovingly designed museum village. Approximately in the center of the complex is an inn serving regional dishes from the individual regions of Austria. My personal highlight is the small general store, which sells souvenirs, books, and rare sweets (e.g., silk crackers) among the exhibits.

For a jogging round in Deutschfeistritz, I recommend the section on the path along the Mur river. This offers a flat and pleasant route with a beautiful view of the river and the surrounding nature. For those who like it more athletic and are looking for elevation gain, the challenging route through the shady Etscherlgraben is also great. Both variants are perfect for jogging in peace and enjoying nature.

For me, on my rounds, there is always a valuable fountain directly opposite the junction with the Stübingtal on the station forecourt.
