A very beautiful path through the forest up the Totenkopf to the Neulindenturm. The steep and somewhat rocky climb is much more enjoyable than the wide path from the south, which I then continued on.

A beautiful hollow path leading from the Liliental valley into the forest to the north. Numerous nesting holes can be seen in the loess walls, but I haven't encountered any bee-eaters in the forest.

The Oberschaffhausen village square is located on Bergstrasse in Bötzingen am Kaiserstuhl. In 2004, local residents founded the "Oberschaffhausener Dorfplatz e.V." association to preserve the square and the museum and expand the collection of historic agricultural equipment. There are at least three or four fountains on Bergstrasse in Bötzingen, all of which are still in operation as of June 2025. The Handwerkerbrunnen (Handicrafts Fountain) at the corner of Bergstrasse and Handwerksgasse is shaded (at least during the first half of the day) and provides ice-cold water. So ice-cold that in early summer at the end of June, it became uncomfortable for hands after just a short time directly under the water stream. The fountain is located on the Bötzingen Fountain Path: https://www.boetzingen.de/,Lde/192626.html
