Very nice spot with a view of Lehrensteinsfeld. A table with benches is available for a picnic, and a beautiful wooden lounger to enjoy the sunset in the evening

The wooden egg was built by Klaus Waldbüsser and consists of individually assembled branches of a pine tree. In the forest, many more works of art made of stone and wood are waiting to be discovered.

The Steinei was built between July 2020 and December 2020 in approx. 350 hours of voluntary work by Klaus Waldbüßer. Each stone was worked on with a hammer and chisel and then placed without mortar or adhesive. The weight is approx. 4 tons. The egg was originally and first exhibited at the BUGA in 2019, held in Heilbronn, and moved to this new location the following year, stone by stone. Respect for this voluntary effort.

It was fenced in for a long time, next door is a pizzeria and a sports field, now you can walk around.

Very beautiful castle 🏰, unfortunately privately owned, once there was a wine and spirits shop here, that is no longer the case.

Probably the second most beautiful building in Lehrensteinsfeld, after the castle 🏰.

A beautiful relic from a bygone era when baking still took place in the center of the village, great to look at.
