St. Martin's Church was first mentioned in 1324, presumably as the private church of the lords of the Hayn manor. Since the mid-1970s, no services have been held in the church. The church was then used as a construction warehouse for over 25 years and was on the verge of complete disrepair. ... In 1999, the first service was held again, the church tower was consecrated, and the bells were rung again. The organ is still badly damaged and unplayable.
