As a child I was regularly here🏊♂️ and I am all the more pleased to know that the swimming pool is currently open again on weekends. Lifeguards are sought on a voluntary basis (as well as the other helpers who are already active) to maintain and possibly expand the newly opened facility. It's still a secret tip.😉

The bench offers a view of the Lottbeker reservoir. Here you sit a bit close to the cyclists passing by.

The bridge was recently redone. Otherwise, a normal bridge, no special highlight!

A must here in the northeast if you are out and about with a gravel bike. It rides great here!

Simply a great trail to push the gravel bike to its limit. Not much is going on here and you can ride as fast as the terrain allows.

Beach: Bredenbeker Teich has a designated beach with a sandy area, ideal for families. Water quality: As a natural lake in Schleswig-Holstein, the pond generally has excellent water quality, which is regularly tested. Infrastructure: The beach offers good infrastructure with restrooms, some supervised areas (during the season), and play areas. Accessibility: A large part of the rest of the lake shore is fenced off or difficult to access, which is why the beach is the primary and official swimming area. Camping: There is a campsite directly on the pond, which also operates the beach. Up-to-date information on opening hours (usually during the summer months) and prices for the beach can be found on the website of Campingplatz Bredenbeker Teich e.V. or at Tourismus Stormarn.
