Originally built as the seat of the Captain's Court, it is currently a cultural centre on the ground floor while the first floor is divided in two, on one side the council chamber, on the other side currently empty rooms which until a few years ago hosted an exhibition of ceramic finds from Roman times to the Middle Ages.
