The ridges here are long and exposed. Apply sunscreen, wear a cap, and pace yourself — the terrain feels endless, but the views make every step worth it.

This tour leads to the highest mountain in Serbia, the 2169m high Midžor (or also called Midshur). The Midžor is located in the "Stara Planina" National Park in the southeast of Serbia on the Bulgarian border. The border between Serbia and Bulgaria runs just above the summit of Midžor. The round-trip from the parking lot "Babin Zub" is about 16 km and depending on the route you have to cope with a difference in altitude of about 700m. A beautiful mountain hike and day tour with medium condition requirements.

Ski lodge right on the ski slope. But even in summer you can stop here and look from the sun loungers into the valley.
