A great vantage point to view Burton marshes the River Dee and the North Wales coast !

A rather quaint location which is well worth a stop en-route for a drink & a bite to eat

Harlow Station has a small cafe open during weekends and summer.

No shop here but toilets available in train station. For those desperate there is also a vending machine on the train station platform.

You can rest on the bench provided almost on the edge of the escarpment and gaze out at the fantastic, panoramic views across the Dee to North Wales and up towards the mouth of the river. Burton Point is the site of an old hill fort dating back to the Iron Age - probably around the year 200 BC. Fascinating.
