March 2, 2025, Ford and Footbridge on the River Ivel

Nice approach from the south down an avenue of trees. Ford is definitely not rideable on road tyres except maybe after a long dry spell - use the footbridge. Road to the north is very broken in stretches.

Lovely village... once home to Queen Katherine of Aragon , and one of the most desirable villages to live in .. in Cambridge.

Don't follow Komoot strictly (like I did) πŸ˜‰ - obey the signs from farmer/landowner & NCN signs - small mistakes can be forgiven, I suppose, when we new to the area.

A nice connection between Eaton Socon and St Neots if you want to avoid the more congested route through the town centre.

Is it a small town or a big village? Dominated now by the extensive grounds of the independent Kimbolton School.
