The most obvious thing you'll see here is the remains of two mounts for World War II-era eight-inch gun mounts; there's an example of what the guns themselves looked like, too. That said, don't forget to look out over the water, too. The point is a great lookout for spotting humpback, gray, and fin whales, and sometimes killer whales (orcas) as well.

It may not look like much from the outside, but this volunteer-run museum is a real gem. Housed in a World War II-era ammunitions bunker, it contains a number of military artifacts dating as far back as World War II. Many of them are still in working order and meant to be touched and interacted with, including an old teletype machine and field radios.
