August 30, 2026, Minnesota River Bluffs Trail 101 Bridge

This bridge is iconic and not only that but it allows to great trails to connect and lets users cross over a busy 4 lane street.

Added some pictures of the interesting bike sculpture and "stars in the sky" picnic area that I think is supposed to look like you can see the stars above you on a sunny day.

Works ok as a starting place to bike from, but didn't realize the parking is all parallel, so maybe 4 cars can get in there. Nice little city park, and just down the path about .25 miles is Victoria proper with a porta potty, one of the things missing from this little park.

Caught glimpses of it today like you say Matthew. Guessing it pops out more in the fall/winter.

Carver is a great park, and it connects to the Lake Minnetonka LRT Regional Trail, the gravel one seen in some of these pictures. The main trails for biking in Carver are all paved or single track for mountain biking. They also groom for fat biking in the winter along with having great cross country skiing.

Great trail, maybe we don't need to pave all the trails in MN if they all ride like this.
